With help from our friends, Douglas Snow and I finished the book in late 2011!
Two thousand eleven was a year replete with part-time faculty blues, but also with family and community support to fill our hearts. My old San Francisco friend Douglas Snow provided the “life of the mind” foil to my long delayed writing commitment with XLibris, a number of people from my Inlandia Institute writing group and others contributed stories and testimonies, and amazing Calvin compiled the book’s index. Inlandia Institute is hosted a book signing for me on the evening of January 5th at 7:00 at the downtown branch of the Riverside Public Library. [See new reading dates in pull-down menu] Our book in Paperback ISBN # 978-1-4568-3119-6 is marketed at $19.95 and it's available at Amazon,

and Barnes and Noble. It will also be in e-form at Amazon, soon.
The book is an admixture of essays on college/university issues and the plight of adjunct faculty with stories, poetry, fine arts reviews and other gems for intellectual amusement, like a quirky chapter called "Ingesting the Divine!" Check us out and learn how college teachers really live.
